At The Bramhope dental clinic our aim is to consistently provide you with dental care of the highest standard in a professional, caring and gentle manner.
We believe that every patient is different and has the right to expect the best of the best and that is why we treat our patients in the way we would treat our family and we want you to feel comfortable at home with our lovely team.
Our emphasis is on preventative dentistry and to work with you to provide individual care that meets your needs and wishes.
Your smile and your dental health are really important to us and we believe that maintaining it, improving it and forward planning to protect it are equally as important. That is why we are here.
Many patients are referred to the practice for orthodontic treatment with Alan Gowans, Consultant Orthodontist; many adults are now having their smile corrected with orthodontics (braces) rather than complex restorative work (crowns).
Lisa, the dental hygienist, who you are welcome to see, has been in the practice for over 15 years. Dawn, one of the nurses, originally set up the practice in 1993 and Wendy joined us in 2011 and so, between them, they will be able to answer most of the questions you may have.
Bramhope Dental Clinic works closely with other practices and practitioners so that opinions can quickly be obtained to determine the best plans for patients.
The practice tries to keep a relaxed atmosphere and in many respects gives the appearance of a family house which, indeed, it once was; Ian used to live here with his wife and first child even while the building was a practice. There is very little, if any, signage outside showing it is a dental practice but you know you have an appointment so just come in and make yourself comfortable in the front room.
At The Bramhope Dental Clinic, the need for strict confidentiality of personal information about our patients is taken very seriously. We have a ‘Confidentiality policy’ which is a condition of employment for all staff members which ensures that any information revealed by our patient to the dentist, nurse or reception team will not be divulged without our patient’s written consent.
